thief with a sense of humor?

PETALING JAYA: The Proton Perdana belonging to the state police chief has been found, 48 hours after it was reported stolen.

An investigating team found DCP Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar's official car in Prima Damansara here, about 8.35am Saturday.

A note on the car's dashboard said: Sorry PDRM tesilap sapu (Sorry PDRM it was a mistake).

The car and its contents, including a few police hats, were in the same condition.

Selangor deputy CID chief Asst Comm Khaw Kok Chin said police were invesitigating if any car theft syndicates were involved.

On Thursday, DCP Khalid's driver parked the Perdana V6 near a restaurant in Section 9, Shah Alam, to have his breakfast. Half an hour later, he found the car missing and immediately lodged a report at the district police headquarters.

DCP Khalid was attending a meeting overseas at the time. The car did not bear the police logo.

However, the car was installed with the Global Positioning System.

wah... can still put a note in the car. :D
