Dear friends,

It’s a co-incidence that our BBQ cum farewell party for TUB on this Saturday, March 28 coincides with Earth Hour (www.earthhour.org/)

As most of you might already know, Earth Hour is a movement started in Sydney in 2007 with the objective of fighting global warming. The target for this year is to gather the support of 1 billion voters to switch off their lights for an hour. This is a worldwide action and the time in Malaysia for this is from 8.30pm – 9.30pm, March 28, 2009

We being in the logistics industry, have unfortunately left lots of carbon footprints in our daily businesses and activities. This is why I feel we should do our part & be supportive of this program.

So within this hour, we will be enjoying our food in the flickering candlelight, listening to the crackling sound of charcoals beneath the moonlit night whilst gazing at the infinite twinkling of stars

Everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas to making this hour more memorable as we show our vote for a better Mother Earth
